The course provides the students with hands on training experience in all aspects of Jewellery from concept building, Jewellery Design, Manufacturing, Diamond Grading / Gemology, CAD/CAM, Merchandising, Product Development and Management. Post Graduate Diploma in Jewellery Management will add in to student’s overall professional resource for future employment and personal development in Jewellery Industry. Training on Jewellery Retail Management is also imparted as part of this programme.

IIGJ Campus Facilities

Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery Mumbai (IIGJ), an initiative of GJEPC, was established under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industries in 2003. The Institute has its main training facility at Andheri housed in a fully air-conditioned standalone four storied building, with a total built- up area of over 14000 Sq. ft. The campus reflects a commitment to quality and dedication to the creative and intellectual needs of students. The educational needs of the students are also promoted in unprecedented experiences of academic energy, exploration and challenges. The Institute has completed 15 years of educational training and overall 5000 students have qualified from various Jewellery courses.
